Food

We feed all of our dogs Purina Pro Plan although we recommend any grain inclusive food that follows or exceeds WASVA guidelines. Currently the only brands that follow these standards (in no particular order) are Purina (any line), Iams, Hills, Royal Canin, Eukanuba. This reduces the risk of any diet related illness like DCM. 

This Facebook group is a great place to get science based information and recommendations. We believe that what you feed your furry family member correlates directly to their health and longevity. 

We use 24" crates for our dogs to sleep in at night. We also recommend a playpen for puppies to contain them and keep them out of trouble when not being watched 

We often give kibble as treats! Something that they don't eat, but is still nutritious. Right now, our dogs favorites are Purina moist and meaty lamb, and Hill's oral care. We also like to use freeze dried liver and Purina One bites as high reward treats

Accidents happen! My favorite cleaner to get out the pee smell out is Zep Urine Remover. It's good on all types of flooring including carpet. It can also be used on couches

Ears- We use Pro Otic ear cleanser and drying solution. Not only does it clean the canal, it also drys it so you don't have to worry about yeast growing 

Skin Folds- MalAcetic wet wipes antimicrobial and drying

Bathing- chlorhexidine 4%
